The Rai family began farming
in 1989 with just over 10 acres of land. In the last 15
years the farm has expanded to over 200 acres. Surrey
Farms has been growing only the very best in strawberries,
blueberries, raspberries and blackberries.
Back in 1989 our stand consisted of a 5x5 foot drive-by
fruit stand located on King George Hwy off of Colebrook
Rd. We sold our berries from this little stand for a
few years, establishing our farm and name in the community.

Over the years
we have expanded this particular stand and built our
main Surrey Farms produce stand located just south of
10 Hwy on 152 Street. Throughout the years this stand
has also grown, with the last expansion in 2007.
Situated in the beautiful city of Surrey, our red Surrey
Farms fruit stand has become a trademark of South Surrey.
Customers have complimented us in our exceptional berries;
however, have also come to recognize us as a one stop
location for all local fruits and vegetables. Our very
popular U-Pick fields attract people from all over the
Lower Mainland. |
